If you register as a member you'll be able to take full advantage of the various networking and information sharing opportunities available on the site. You can sign up to our fortnightly email newsletters, as well as start discussions in our forums and comment on any article. Register here.
You can get step by step instructions on how to add your own content to the website - including news, events, bulletin notices and forum topics - by downloading the Guide to adding content from our documents library.
We want your articles and special reports on a whole range of rural issues. You can submit your articles using our content submission form. If you have photos to illustrate your article send them to the editor@ruralgateway.org.uk. And if you'd like to become a regular contributor get in touch with the editor.
Share your views and experiences on a range of rural issues by taking part in our discussion forum, commenting on articles, taking part in surveys and voting in polls.
You can add your photos to the Images of Rural Scotland group in our Gallery. You can get step by step instructions in our Guide to adding photos.
If your community, project or enterprise has achieved something innovative and exciting why not share your story with others? Your experience could inspire others and sharing your expertise could help them face challenges. We're looking for projects for our Featured Projects section. All you have to do is answer a short series of set questions and send us a couple of photos.
