Discussion session at outer hebrides eventThe Scottish National Rural Network aims to connect rural Scotland in all its diversity to promote economic growth and community development.

Since the website launched in April 2009, more than 3,500 separate items of news and information have been posted on the site, and it has received over 500,000 page views by 100,000 unique visitors. Most of the site's users are from Scotland, however we have also had visits from a further 170 countries including Mongolia!

The Scottish National Rural Network also runs regional events ranging from themed conferences to project visits. Find out about these in our SNRN Regional Events section.
