Rural Direct roadshows 2012
Rural Direct is on the road this winter, running a series of roadshow events across Scotland aimed at helping rural communities to develop local projects and get the funding they need to make them work.
Rural Direct doesn't provide funding, but it does offer information and support from an expert team of advisors who can help community groups to find their way through the rural development funding maze.
At each event, an expert team of advisors will be on hand to help people find out more about rural development funding and to plan, develop and access funding for local projects.
So far, we have run 15 roadshows and the response, both through personal comment and on evaluation forms, has been extremely positive. Details of the next eight events are shown :
