Currently looking for funding for a project? The links in this section are to a range of funders you could consider, from family trusts to Heritage Lottery programmes. You can also sign up for the Scottish National Rural Network Newsletter which includes a monthly Funding Latest update.

You can find more detailed information on funding available through the Scottish Rural Development Programme on the Scottish Government website. Two of the programmes for rural community development are LEADER and Rural Priorities.

Rural community groups can get support with applying for funding from the Rural Direct service. Rural Direct have also produced an area by area guide to help groups identify their local funding contacts. The contact guide can be downloaded here.
