You can add your own news, bulletin board postings, discussion posts, events, consultations and more by logging in and using the 'Create Content' link on the right hand side of the page. If you need any help use the guides in our How to Add Content section or email editor@ruralgateway.org.uk. All user added content will appear on the home page of the website and in our email newsletter.
If you'd prefer you can email us with content to be added to the site at editor@ruralgateway.org.uk. And if you want to submit regular news let us know and we can set you up as a regular contributor.
Discuss rural issuesShare your views and experiences on a range of rural issues by taking part in our discussion forum, commenting on articles, taking part in surveys and voting in polls.
You can also run a consultation to gather the views of people across rural Scotland. The Scottish Government used the site to get input into their Speak Up for Rural Scotland consultation and the Argyll Rural Schools Network are using it to collate views to feed into the Commission on Rural Education. Find out more in our Consultations section and the How to Add Content section.
You can add your photos to the Images of Rural Scotland group in our Gallery. You can get step by step instructions in our Guide to adding photos.
If your community, project or enterprise has achieved something innovative and exciting why not share your story with others? Your experience could inspire others and sharing your expertise could help them face challenges. We're looking for projects for our Featured Projects section. All you have to do is answer a short series of set questions and send us a couple of photos. Get in touch by emailing editor@ruralgateway.org.uk if you want to take part.
We're also on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr so why not get in touch through our social media channels? Get all the links you need in our Social Media section.
We're always happy to receive your comments and suggestions, so please get in touch. You find our contact details here.
