The aim of this project is to provide volunteering opportunities to encourage learning, development and training opportunities that will improve employability, mental and physical health, reduce stress and isolation and encourage exercise - members of the rural areas will come otgether to forge a strong sense of community.

It aims to provide structures training programmes delivered by a coordinator, that will asssist in identifying participants needs and encourage, support and empower them. The particpants will do a work placement within the community garden to encourage and motivate them to take further steps into employment or further learning. The project will provide a mix of practical gardening work as well as classroom based training.
