The UK National Rural Network will hold its first rural development networking conference, hosted by the Rural Network for Northern Ireland, in the Holiday Inn, Belfast on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2010.
The UK National Rural Network acts as a hub that supports the rural development programmes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland enabling the exchange of practice and expertise within the four UK countries and across Europe.
This major event aims to bring together those involved in the delivery of rural development programmes from across the UK and beyond.
Designed to inspire, motivate and connect, the conference promises to deliver a range of opportunities for participants to share ideas, knowledge and practice on the wide range of rural development programme activity taking place across the UK.
For those planning ahead the conference is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m. on Wednesday 10 March and conclude 2 p.m. Thursday 11 March 2010. A Study Visit and Cooperation Programme hosted by the Rural Network for Northern Ireland will begin at 2 pm Thursday 11 March 2010 and conclude at 5 pm. Delegates are encouraged to stay and witness rural development in action.
