The seminar will feature an interactive panel discussion engaging the audience in identifying future directions and innovations for service design and delivery, and is aimed at practitioners, policymakers, researchers and the general public.
Panel members include:

- Carron McDiarmid, Head of Policy and Performance, The Highland Council
- Stephen P. Osborne, Professor of International Public Management, University of Edinburgh
- Christina West, Clinical Services Manager Primary Care, NHS Highland
- Representative of the Scottish Government (to be confirmed)
- Philomena deLima, Director of the UHI Centre for Remote and Rural Studies, will moderate the panel discussion.
This event is organised by CRRS, in co-operation with the UHI Centre for Rural Health and the UHI Centre for Rural Childhood, and forms part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2010. This is a UK wide programme of over 130 events aimed at promoting awareness of UK social science research to new audiences.
