Scotland: National Rural NetworkThe Scottish National Rural Network South Lanarkshire regional event is open for bookings. The event takes place on 24th March from 10am to 3.30pm at the Lanark Agricultural Centre, Lanark.
This free event is a great opportunity to get updates on rural funding opportunities, to hear about projects from the area and further afield and to network with a wide range of people.
The day will be chaired by Jim McCaffer, Head of Regeneration at South Lanarkshire Council. Information updates will come from Beverley Maclean, Scottish National Rural Network (SNRN) regional coordinator and Norette Ferns, SNRN website editor, Chris Parkin from South Lanarkshire LEADER and Keith Wishart from Clyde Valley Rural Priorities.
There is something of a food and drink theme for the project presentations. These will come from South Lanarkshire Food and Drink Development Programme, Healthy Valleys and Whitmuir Organics.
Following a networking lunch there will be a facilitated discussion session.
