You may wish to be aware that the following leaflet about e-coli has been distributed by the Scottish Government's Health Protection Team amongst a number of organisations such as the Scouts, Guides and Ramblers association (i.e. those who are likely to have close contact with animals especially over the summer months). The Scottish Government would like to draw your attention to this leaflet which highlights how e-coli is spread especially by contact with animals.
