Fauldhouse Forest Employability Project

The project offers paid training opportunities for long-term unemployed young people to work in forestry

This partnership initiative was developed by Fauldhouse Development Trust, West Lothian Council - Community Regeneration, West Lothian Council - Access2employment, the Forestry Commission and JobcentrePlus. The project offers paid training opportunities for long-term unemployed young people to work in forestry. Trainees carry out enhancements  to woodland areas in the Fauldhouse area. This will assist in the promotion of the use of the woodland area by the community.
