Battle of Linlithgow Bridge Trail

commemorating the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge in 1526

Linlithgow Heritage Trust aim to develop a battlefield trail which commemorates the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge in 1526. The project will develop a website, publish leaflets for visitors, upgrade the site of the existing memorial cairn, develop interpretation of the cairn and initial interpretation of the trail.
Local people have provided their time voluntarily to this historic heritage project, which should enhance the local environment and encourage tourism in the local area.
