Policy Adviser - Species, Soil and Water

Forestry Commission Scotland are currently looking for a Policy Adviser - Species, Soil and Water based in their Edinburgh office. The post is a one year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of extension or permanency. Part time opportunities are available.

The successful candidate will lead the development, promotion, monitoring and review of species, water and soils policy consistent with the Scottish Government's Scottish Forestry Strategy. You must have experience of forestry, environmental management or policy work, and hold a degree or equivalent in forestry, environmental science or a related discipline.

Isle of Rum Community Trust

The Isle of Rum Community Trust are looking for a Local Development Officer. This person will work with the group and wider community to develop and implement a community growth plan, which takes account of opportunities to enhance the socio-economic, cultural and environmental welfare of the local area.
