Projects around solutions for payment services for elderly and disabled people?

The Swedish National Rural Network has been approached by a consultancy company with the task from a Swedish authority to make a survey of good ideas and solutions for payment services for elderly and disabled people, especially in rural areas.

Their question is:

A-focus AB (a swedish consultant company) are working on behalf of the Swedish National Regulatory in telecommunication - Post- och telestyrelsen (PTS). Our task is to look into the area of payment services for elderly and disabled people, specially in rural areas, based on electronic communications. The question we will answer is if there are any initiatives, projects and/or services in this area. Are there any development regarding payment services based on electronic communications? The purpose is firstly for us to collect the information for PTS and secondly for PTS to analyse and present the information for the swedish government.

With this background we would like to ask if you are aware of any projects and/or initiatives that are in line with this area?
