Rural Update: Issue 61

OPEN THE GATEWAY TO RURAL SCOTLAND

Welcome to the current issue of Rural Update, bringing you the latest content from the site. As a registered user you have elected to receive these regular newswires.

EDITOR'S NOTES

One of the things that you often hear at conferences and seminars is how a successful project, or example of good practice, can go unnoticed even a few miles down the road. Frustrating? You bet, so we would like to address this state of affairs (a little) by developing an archive of rural projects and contacts on the Rural Gateway.

First up is Dave Niven of the Communities of the Edge initiative in southern Scotland. We would like to hear from you if you want to follow in Dave's footsteps and answer our nine questions about your project or success story. See http://www.ruralgateway.org.uk/item/1071
