Announcement: Rural Development Programme seminars

Image of a rural area A series of seminars about the new Scottish Rural Development Programme is currently taking place.

If you provide advice to land managers, rural communities and others in rural Scotland, these seminars will help you understand the new approach to rural development and give you the information you need to articulate this to your customers and colleagues.

Coffee is provided for the first 30 minutes of each event, the presentation lasts around 45 minutes and the remainder of the time is available for questions and discussion.

Timetable for remaining seminars

  • Perth, Hunting Tower, 2nd October, 9am - 1pm
  • Dumfries, Best Western Station Hotel, 8th October, 9am - 1pm
  • Oban, Corran Hall, 11th October, 9am - 1pm

Seminars have already taken place in Aberdeen, Inverness and Peebles.

Further seminars

These seminars will be followed up with events that explain the delivery of the new Scottish Rural Development Programme. The timetable for these seminars will be announced soon.

NFU Scotland are also hosting meetings about the new Scottish Rural Development Programme.
NFUS members are encouraged to come and hear how the SRDP will work, what its objectives are and how to make the most of what's on offer.
Tuesday 16th October, 7:30 - 9:30pm at the Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmedrum.
Friday 19th October, 2-4pm at the Stonefield Castle Hotel in Tarbert.
