Public meetings for possible SRDP applicants

Image of a cow putting its head through a farm gateA series of 21 public meetings will take place over the coming weeks for possible applicants to the Scottish Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 (SRDP).

The first meeting will take place on the evening of 11th December 2007 at Perth Racecourse, Scone and will be chaired by Syd House, Chair of the Tayside Regional Proposal Assessment Committee (RPAC).

These meetings will give possible applicants an overview of the SRDP, with more detail on the new Rural Development Contracts – Rural Priorities scheme, how to seek funding from the scheme and what makes a proposal worthy of support. Attendees will also get the chance to ask questions about the new SRDP and in particular the Rural Development Contracts – Rural Priorities scheme.

You can find out more about the SRDP in the Gateway article Rural Development funding - key facts for communities.
