Your Project - Fife Diet Project

Its about regional cuisine – eating locally to combat food miles and prepare for a low carbon society. A year long project to see how much food you can source from Fife.

Where is it?

Fife.

Who's involved?

There are about 60 households or an estimated 180 people.

How is it funded?

It has some backing from Scotland Unltd and support from WECAN (Working for Environmental Community Action Now) but is basically a volunteer network.

When is it funded to?

Not long.

Biggest achievement so far?

Our public meetings are packed with people keen to step away from the clutches of the supermarket experience.

Any downsides so far?

Peelings.
