EDITOR'S NOTE
We've had some excellent contributions, features and special reports
in the past fortnight - many thanks to all those who have taken the
time to write pieces for the Rural Gateway. BADA-UK have written a
highly informative article for the Gateway on ticks and tick-borne
disease, and their work to raise public awareness. We also have a
special report from Bridget Paterson who has just been appointed as
Scheme Co-ordinator for an exciting new heritage project in Bute.
Michael Johnston tells us about his year so far in 'Notes about this
spring', his first Notes from the Farm article. We also have news
about a great transnational project offering opportunities for young
people to work in Europe and Sandra Hogg shares some of her top funding tips
in 'Our funding guru walks the funding walk'.
