EDITOR'S NOTE
I had a great time at the European Geoparks Conference in Ullapool
last week. Interesting presentations, fieldtrips and fellow delegates
made for a fun and informative two days. It was just a pity about the
sideways rain! My conference report will be on the site very soon, as
will Sandra Hogg's report from the Initiative at the Edge conference
in Barra. Sandra and I will be at the Scottish Borders Voluntary
Sector Conference next week and the CVS Conference in Erskine the
week after. It is always good to meet people who use the site in
person, so hopefully we will meet some more of you at these events.
The Rural Gateway user survey will close on Monday 24th September.
We've had a good response so far, with some really useful comments
and suggestions. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and
a 15 pounds Amazon voucher will go to a randomly selected
participant.

Our August gallery is now on the site, featuring the best of that
