New energy advice service launched

Image of woman holding a lightbulbAre you feeling the pinch because of rising fuel costs? Thinking about small scale renewables for your home? Interested in sustainable transport? Then a new service launched recently could help.

The Energy Saving Scotland advice network will be offering free advice and helping you to cut your energy bills. The one stop shop will help you access grants from the Scottish Government and energy supply companies and will offer an energy home help service.

Energy Minister Jim Mather said, “We all need to think about how much energy we use. With rising fuel prices hitting people in the pocket, there’s never been a better time to get energy wise – and a waste of energy is a waste of money.”

The Energy Saving Scotland network provide services on a regional basis, covering the whole of Scotland. You can get in touch with your local centre by calling 0800 512 012 or going to the Energy Savings Trust website.

The Energy Saving Scotland advice network is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust.
