There is still time to register for the EU Rural Cooperation Fair taking place in Edinburgh on 23rd and 24th September. This free event will be a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience with other people from rural Scotland and Europe.

You can now download an invitation, which includes details of the programme and a link to the booking form, from our documents library.

Keynote speakers include Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs Richard Lochhead, Ave Bremse, Estonian National Rural Network and Panagiotis Patras, President of European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD).

Workshops themes will include Economic Development, Social Issues, Culture, Environment, Tourism and Community Development. Experienced practitioners from the UK, Hungary, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Finland and Slovenia will lead these workshops.

There will be plenty of opportunities to network and explore cooperation projects during market place sessions and the conference dinner and dance!

An optional project visit on the afternoon of 24th September will take delegates to Whitmuir Organics - an inspiring rural enterprise in the Scottish Borders.

If you don't want to miss out on this major rural event secure your place today by registering online.
