Rural Community Gateway

The Gateway Guide is a new regular feature which aims to give you an introduction to terms and concepts we hear all the time, but might be unsure of. Our first concept is 'sustainable development'.

The Scottish Government have launched their consultation 'Safeguarding our rural schools' which sets out their proposals for changes to legislation. Teachers, parents, young people, and anyone with an interest in rural schools, are being urged to have their say by taking part in the consultation.
